I'm in my early 40s married and have a beautiful little girl. back in my happy teen years, i played the guitar a bit. I am self taught and never was very good at any style (not that it stopped me from playing)...
Recently, all i could think of was picking up the guitar again, and i started looking online for finger-style guitar players, and that's how i found Tommy.
WOW, Tommy inspires even an old geezer like me...

why do i like Tommy???
how can i not...
for someone who just found out about Tommy, he makes me lough. the way he pulls-off that note "in (the man with the) green thumb", the incredible harmonics he does in "over the rainbow: but i guess i especially like how he honors past artists like Elizabeth Cotten, and Chet Atkins. with his unique style, he is able to give new dimensions to their music, and still honor the original.
With very few exceptions, I Never likes covers of anything, until i heard Tommy...
