yes it was! i was shocked when i read this message on his site http://www.tommyemmanuel.com/ but only two and a half month ago i met him in munic and he was the same tommy as he was before :-) maybe a little less of weight *lol* so i think that he learned to take care on his health!

i think your right isabelle. it was an interview he gave to drew marshall on his radio show in the u.s. it can be found on t.e. website. he mentions his health problems, his previous problems with drugs and his break-up with lizzie watkins. but i would agree with henri also. i meet him last year in england. he seemed to have lost a bit of weight but apart from that he was the same tommy. full of life and energy

Tommy is the best in the world, however he is human and needs to re-evaluate his un-human tour schedule ! I can't believe he is capable of meeting the audiences expectations every other night non stop from city to city and country to country.. If you look at his schedule for the last 5 years, you will be amazed how anyone could possibly tolerate the intense travel, set up, practice and performing on stage for a demanding audience, night after night. Yes, we all want to see him play, however,we all want him around in the future...
